Alfold Youth Club

The Youth Club meet fortnightly on a Friday night between 7.00 and 9.00pm at the Village Hall in Alfold. It is for boys and girls 11 - 16 years old from Alfold and the surrounding villages. The aim is to provide a safe and friendly environment for them to meet and socialize. The group is run by local parents who are supported by a Youth Officer from Surrey County Council.

There are excellent facilities at the hall along with regular activities, arts and craft, cooking, music as well as life skills such as first aid. On a Youth Club night there is always table tennis, a pool table, table football, dvd movies and Nintendo Wii etc. We also have outside activities which include adventure camps, county competitions and much more.

We are always looking for new members to join to help develop a vibrant Youth Club that benefits the children and the community through being actively involved in village life. We also welcome parents to help as volunteers, even if it’s for occasional evenings through out year.

We are always delighted when some one comes forward with a great idea for an evening, so the children can learn or do something new and different. If you have a brilliant idea for an evening, we would love to hear from you.

A weekly fee of £1.50 is payable to include subs, food etc.
